Late Arrival & Cancellation Policy

At KCW Mobile Notary Services, we value your time and ours. To ensure smooth scheduling and fairness to all clients, the following policies apply to late arrivals, cancellations, and rescheduling:

Late Arrival Policy

If the notary arrives at the scheduled location and the signer(s) are not ready, a 15-minute grace period will be allowed.

After 15 minutes, a late fee of $25 will be added to the service total.

If the signer is more than 30 minutes late and the appointment cannot proceed, it will be treated as a cancellation (see below).

Cancellation Policy

Appointments canceled with more than 24 hours’ notice will not incur a cancellation fee.

Appointments canceled within 24 hours of the scheduled time are subject to a $35 cancellation fee.

If the notary has already traveled to the appointment location before receiving a cancellation notice, the full travel fee will still apply.

Rescheduling Policy

Clients may reschedule one time without penalty if notice is given at least 24 hours in advance.

Rescheduling requests made within 24 hours of the appointment will incur a $15 rescheduling fee.

No-Show Policy

If the signer is not present and unreachable 30 minutes after the appointment start time, the appointment will be considered a no-show.

In this case, the client is responsible for the travel fee plus 50% of the notarization fee.
